UK will work with Germany to create the next generation of wireless communications technology , announced today the British Prime Minister David Cameron at the CeBIT conference in Germany great .
The two countries will cooperate on developing links 5G , through which Cameron hopes they can cut the time needed to download a 800MB file in 40 seconds as required in 4G , in just a second.
University of Dresden in Germany , King 's College London and University of Surrey in the UK will work together in the development of high-speed connectivity , announces Cameron .
When this is combined initiative with the release of unused spectrum in the UK , Cameron estimates it could increase the economic benefits to the country from 83 billion dollars as estimated to be today , 166 billion dollars in 2025 , reports British newspaper The Guardian
