Apple and Samsung agree not continue with the trial?

Apple and Samsung have been in talks to resolve some of the legal issues started, and recently the executive directors of both companies met in their attempt to reach an agreement.
However, apparently the director talks between Apple, Tim Cook and the Samsung, JK Shin failed, and now companies will still continue to solve their problems through the courts.

A new report published by The Verge says that two executives of tech giants have failed to reach an agreement that would suit both parties, and it is likely that their talks should not continue with another meeting.

As a result, Apple and Samsung will continue the legal battle between themselves, to resolve disputes concerning patents and licenses respectively.
