U.S., the iPhone takes 45 percent of the market

Of the total of 121 million smartphones were sold in the U.S. as of 2013 , Apple took 45 percent of the market , according to the new report said the NPD Group . This figure represents an increase of 1 percent to Apple , in a period of one year.
Samsung has advanced to the second point , and holds 26 percent of the market , while LG has invited three points , the last at 8 percent of the U.S. market of smart phones .

HTC and Motorola have fallen , the first from 10 to 6 percent , while the company which recently was sold to Lenovo dropped from 7 to 4 percent .

Postpaid mobile account for 71 percent of the U.S. market , an increase of 10 percent . While the prepaid market has increased by 68 percent to get 29 percent of the market .

Prepaid market growth is attributed to the increase of T - Mobile, the operator who made major changes in its business , as it offers its customers took away mobile phones from rivals like AT & T and Verizon .
